Good News: StickyBrain discontinued!
For some long years, one of the most helpful applications in our everyday life is been StickyBrain. Chronos' little software in the beginning was introduced as an intelligent alternative to the Stickies, the Mac come-along mini application. As years passed, it has become a full featured powerful app, combining most of the forces of the OS X underlayer, the unique OpenBase for managing all information in a smart and user friendly interface.

StickyBrain
Needless to say that a lot of our daywork, such as grabbing info from Safari, gathering notes for publishing, managing dozens of logins and passwords, remembering deadlines, taking voice notes, sending mails or even blogging, is accomplished thanks to the tools provided by StickyBrain, being on its v4 by now.

Sometime in its life, StickyBrain saw a big brother coming in the Chronos software family: SOHO Notes. This was a somehow "StickyBrain Plus" app. It could do everything StickyBrain could, plus some more, pro user oriented features. Like synchronizing notes between multiple computers using a .Mac account, accessing multiple note databases simultaneously or even being multi-user capable which means users could share notes with others over a network using the product's client/server technology.

The two apps have run side to side for some time now, targeting each one a slightly different public. Till today that Chronos decided that there was no more any point having two almost identical applications. So StickyBrain goes off-scene, leaving the field to the more powerful SOHO Notes. Chronos says two reasons made them turn this way. First, they want to simplify their product line which eliminates confusion for users. Second, they want to focus their developing and support resources on a single product instead of two products. Which we find is a good thing.

StickyBrain and SOHO Notes
So, StickyBrain has been officially replaced by SOHO Notes ($39.99). And what about us, registered StickyBrain users? Will we be left apart? Not at all!

Registered StickyBrain 4.x users can upgrade to SOHO Notes for FREE. Simply download SOHO Notes and it will automatically recognize and work with your StickyBrain database.

Registered StickyBrain 1.x-3.x users (that is at least last year's upgrade) can upgrade to SOHO Notes for only $25.

Here's why we said StickyBrain discontinued is Good News!

All you have to keep in mind is that, due to the maximum benefit, SOHO Notes takes from the Mac OS X enhancements, it needs a minimum of 10.4.7 (that's the actual) system version. You have it, isn't it?
